This is an 8x10 black and white picture of
Barbara Stanwyck taken from a Movie Stars Parade Magazine. In
1942 Movie Stars Parade Magazine published a special issue of
autographed pictures of all the most famous movie stars of
that time.
This is one of those
pictures. Barbara was a very beautiful and talented star of
her time and very much in demand. There is a small nick in the
middle bottom and on the left hand corner there is a nick
about ¼" however it will not show after it is in a 8x10 frame.

John Barrymore 1942 Ad from
Vintage Movie Stars Parade Magazine
In 1942
Movie Stars Parade Magazine did a memorian on John
Barrymore. John Barrymore was one of the most famous movie
stars of all time. There was a lot of his family that was also
very famous movie stars. He had a successful career on stage,
screen and radio.
In 1931
he left Broadway to make a career in movies. Next to the
Memoriam is an advertisement of one of Joan Crawford’s
Columbia movies, "They All Kissed the Bride". She is
pictured with Melvin Douglas who played the male led.
At the bottom right hand corner, in a small square is "Buy
U.S. War Bonds or stamps Today at Your Local Theatrel
(1942 spelling in article or a mistake in their article).
On the back
is a picture of Veronica Lake on the set at Paramount
studio and a short article about her new Paramount picture,
"I Married a Witch". There is also an advertisement for
Stardom magazine. This 1942 page from Movie Stars Parade
will be shipped in an acid free cover and backing.

Amish Picture - 5 Boys and A Buggy in a Oak Frame by Koenig 1990
This is a nice Amish picture
with an Oak frame that measures approximately 6.5” wide and 8.5”
long. The inside
glass measures 9.25” wide and 8” long.
This a copyrighted
reproduction from a painting by artist/publisher AL Koenig, Hudson
Ohio, printed by Color Q, Dayton Ohio, 1990 that measures 5” long
and 8” wide. The oak frame has minor superficial scratches.

Advertisement
This is a page measuring 8 X 11,
from a 1942 Movie Star Parade Magazine advertisement for the movie
Sergeant York staring Gary Cooper and Joan Leslie with Walter
Brennan. It was a Howard Hanks Production by Warner Brothers. This
was a time when the theaters were selling war bonds and stamps.
On the back there is an
advertisement for Miner’s Liquid Make-up for Legs. There is
full length picture of a male movie star that I can’t identify.
This is an excellent piece for
war movie collectors and or war bonds and stamps.
The page is frayed in several
places on the very edge and there is some yellowing other than that
it is in excellent condition for its age. It comes with an acid
free backing and plastic cover.
